The Foundation is
your place
Worried about where you’ll fit in at EIU? Worry no more. The Foundation has a place just for you.
refuge and quiet
The Foundation is a place to escape campus, sit back and relax with friends. Come sit on the front porch and swing. Go to the prayer chapel for some quiet time. Just get away from the hectic pace of campus life.
worship and joyful noise
Our Wednesday night Powerlight worship is a contemporary, student-led worship experience with our praise band FOAM. Here we sing to the Lord, come together in prayers, and take time with God.
counseling and seeking answers
College is a time to discover who you are and begin to develop into the human being God created you to be. We want to be with you in that process and help you in any way we can.
questioning and seeking truth
In a world full of ideas and options, what do you believe? No matter where you are in your journeys through life and faith, this is a place to ask your questions. Together we will seek the truth.
Interested in joining us for any of our activities?
We are the ski lodge looking building located across 4th Street from Lawson Hall. We hope you will stop by and get to know us.
(if you can, insert the map from the attached flyer)
Sponsored by the Illinois Great Rivers Conference of the United Methodist Church, the Wesley Foundation is open to people of all denominations and stages of their faith journey. It is our goal to help others know Christ and to strengthen their relationship with Him.
